Early Years

Born Daniel Hernandez on May 8, 1996, in Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York, Tekashi69 discovered his father’s existence later in childhood. His father, a former heroin addict, had been incarcerated, leading Tekashi to believe his father was deceased before their reunion.

Going so far as to rip up the letters he sent from jail, Daniel Jr.’s actions were drastic.
