The Banshee Development Calendar

Our release schedule follows GNOME’s schedule. Odd-numbered releases like 2.1.x are development releases leading up to a stable release like 2.2.x. Development releases are worked on in the git master branch and can progress quickly. Stable releases are maintained with bug fixes only for about a year in separate branches like stable-2.0.
