What is Ladd Drummond’s net worth?
With a net worth estimated at $200 million, Ladd Drummond is an American cattle rancher. He is married to the well-known blogger and television personality Ree Drummond, and the family resides in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.
Ree, his wife, authors the highly regarded blog Pioneer Woman, sharing insights into their ranch life. Together, they have four children. Notably, the Drummond family ranks as the 23rd largest landowner in the United States, possessing 433,000 acres of land spanning 675 square miles. A government report highlights that over the previous decade, they have received more than $24 million from the U.S. government, largely to support animal protection efforts on their property.
Early Life
Originating from Nebraska, Ladd Drummond is one of three sons, alongside Todd and Tim. Tragically, his eldest brother Todd passed away in a car accident at the age of 18, just before starting college. At that time, Todd was working on a family friend’s ranch in Texas. Ladd graduated from Arizona State University and is proud to be a fourth-generation cattle rancher.
Family Wealth
Co-owning the Drummond Land & Cattle Co. with his brother Tim, Ladd continues the legacy of their family patriarch Fred Drummond, who established the company in the late 1800s after emigrating from Scotland. Fred married Addie Gentner from Kansas and launched Drummond Land & Cattle Co. All three of Fred and Addie’s sons achieved success as cattle ranchers. According to official records, ownership of the Drummond company is limited to just four individuals.
At the time Ladd met Ree, he was already an active cattle rancher. Ree’s blog has expanded into books, a Food Network series, and numerous growing businesses in downtown Pawhuska, where Ladd also plays a role. In late 2016, they opened The Merc, a restaurant and retail shop located in a century-old building in Pawhuska that they acquired and began renovating in 2012. In April 2018, the Drummonds launched a bed and breakfast called The Boarding House. Additionally, they established P-Town Pizza and an ice cream shop named Charlie’s Sweet Shop in downtown Pawhuska, Oklahoma.

Personal Life
Ladd first encountered Ree in a bar during the mid-1990s when she had returned to Oklahoma after spending her college years in Los Angeles. Although she contemplated moving to Chicago for law school, her plans shifted. Ladd and Ree exchanged vows on September 21, 1996. At their wedding reception, Ladd was in the men’s locker room watching his alma mater, Arizona State, compete against Nebraska, the reigning national champions. ASU emerged victorious. The couple spent their honeymoon in Australia and currently resides on an active cattle ranch located around eight miles west of Pawhuska, approximately two hours from Oklahoma City.
Together, Ladd and Ree have four children: Alex, born in 1997; Paige, born in 1999; Bryce, born in 2002;and Todd, who was born in 2004. The Drummond family homeschools their children from kindergarten to high school. Alex graduated from Texas A&M University, while Paige is presently attending the University of Arkansas.
Ladd and the entire Drummond family enjoy playing fantasy football.
The reality TV series The Pioneer Woman, featuring the Drummonds, first aired on the Food Network in 2011 and has since completed over 25 seasons.
