Early Life

Born as Alden Joseph Brown on May 11, 1957, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, his early years were quite ordinary until he relocated to Los Angeles. In the early 1980s, while modeling athletic wear at a private event, a man from the adult film industry noticed him. Impressed by Brown’s physique, the man encouraged him to pursue a career in adult films. Alden promptly followed up on this opportunity with the man’s business card in hand.

Career

Initially, Alden launched his career in adult films featuring gay pornography under the stage name Matt Ramsey. However, he later transitioned to straight pornography, which catapulted him to greater fame. During the subsequent years, he participated in more than 2,000 adult film projects and directed over 70 films, primarily between 1998 and 2007. In 2001, he established his own production company named Northpole Entertainment. It was also during this time that Alden adopted the persona “Peter North.”

Controversy

In the wake of the US government’s investigation into Traci Lords’ underage involvement in the porn industry, Peter North became one of the individuals scrutinized. Traci had falsified her identification, enabling her to perform at just 16 years old, a clear violation of US law as minors cannot legally consent to sex. North had participated in several scenes alongside Lords during her underage period, which posed potential legal risks for him. The investigation was eventually closed when it was established that no one was aware of Traci’s actual age.

North reflected on this situation, stating that Traci “deceived a lot of people.” Additionally, he asserted that her combative behavior off-camera undermined her claims that the porn industry “corrupted her.”

Peter wed his wife Nadia in 2014 after knowing her from the porn industry, where they have collaborated on several adult film projects.

Legal Issues

In 2019, Nadia sought a restraining order against Peter following alleged incidents of domestic violence she suffered on two occasions that year. One of these incidents reportedly left her with a concussion. Nadia later recounted that she had experienced 20 similar instances of domestic violence, with North identified as the aggressor.

By 2021, the situation reportedly escalated further. Nadia continuedto make allegations against North regarding several instances of marital misconduct and sexual offenses. Nadia has even asserted that Peter North sexually assaulted her on at least one occasion. To substantiate her allegations, she recorded an audio clip of one such incident that occurred in their Newport Beach residence. According to her account, she concealed her phone beneath the bed during the assault, in which North purportedly threw her to the ground and kicked her in the back of the head. This altercation reportedly began after Nadia threatened to end the relationship.

Once the attack concluded, Nadia states that North compelled her to ingest prescription medication, obstructed the exit, and then waited for her to drift into sleep. Furthermore, she alleges that from 2017 to 2019, she endured various injuries resulting from domestic violence instigated by Peter. These injuries allegedly included fractured ribs, concussions, head contusions, and at least one spinal injury.

The purported rape is said to have occurred in 2019 while the couple was in the process of selling a house contaminated with mold. Peter insisted that they both visit the property to inspect the mold, and upon arrival, he is said to have assaulted her without any form of consent. Additionally, Peter faced accusations of coercing his wife into performing numerous “extreme scenes” in a short timeframe while they collaborated on adult film projects.
